What to do...and FREE stuff!

Happy Friday, guys! I'm not sure what to do with myself now that Charming is in production. Actually, I do know what to do. I'm reading and writing, but I miss Haley and Chris so much. There's part of me that wants to delve back into that crew of amazing characters and write more about them, but how much bad stuff can happen to "real" people?

I will miss looking at pictures of Matt Lanter, though. I mean, who wouldn't? He made the perfect Christopher freaking Charming. And you can bet I included that little gray beanie in the book!

I'll miss Haley Tremaine and rooting for her as she grows up and realizes she has to take care of herself. She has to respect herself in order to truly help the people she loves. I'll miss her devotion to family. I've never written a character quite like her. I feel like she and I are best friends, sharing secrets and taking over the world. No, I'm not crazy!

So, while you wait to read and share in my adoration for the most thrilling thriller you'll ever come across, I'm writing The Unraveling of Willard Hill (I'll get to Shattered Secrets 2 soon, don't worry).

The Unraveling of Willard Hill is a story that puts a new meaning on "be careful what you wish for."

And, because I love teasing you, and this blog post is about as random as it gets, here's the first paragraph:

"Every Friday, Tristan Wellington sat behind me and shot spitballs into my hair for the entire forty five-minute block of Biology class. Today proved no different. And just like on previous Fridays, I ignored him. If the guarded chuckling was anything to judge by, my hair looked as though several birds flew over me and decided to take a crap at the same time." -- Kora Bennet-Benois, The Unraveling of Willard Hill.

I have a feeling I'm going to love Kora every bit as much as Haley, maybe even more, as Kora loves her French Horn, an instrument I played for seven years while in band.

But when do we get to the FREE stuff, you ask? Now, of course!

Just enter the Rafflecopter giveaway, and make sure to tell your friends, and I'll send you your choice or a red or black bookmark (US, UK, and CA only).

And trust me, there will be more. Just follow along, and I'll be sharing more about Haley and Chris, even Kora and Sam, and I'll definitely be giving more things away.

Until next time...
