Happy Charming Halloween!
I love this time of the year, all the crisp weather, the rich colors of the leaves, the smell of pumpkin spice and apple cider, carving pumpkins, and great costumes.
Yep, tonight's the night when people all across the country will don their spookiest, cutest, craziest costumes and go knocking on people's doors demanding candy.
Seriously the weirdest "holiday" we have. But whatever. I'm certainly not complaining because this day keeps my pantry stocked with goodies for quite a long time. In fact, we leave our Halloween bucket in the pantry all year long.
The kids raid the bucket until it's empty and then demand we refill it, to which we let them know exactly how far away Halloween is.
Clarissa, my four year old, keeps asking me what I'm going to dress up as tonight. A mother, I always tell her. Yeah, I never really got into dressing up. But the kids do. Abby's going to be a witch, Rissa a rainbow unicorn, and Ethan a fourteen year old who doesn't do stupid, childish things anymore.
*insert frowny face*
Anyway, I hope everyone has a CHARMING Halloween. Stay safe. And... from me to you, I'm offering my newest spooky release for just 99 cents TODAY ONLY. So, go buy it, read it, curl up under the covers and wonder when the bad guys are coming for you!
